Phillip Olla

Venus Olla

Dr. Olla is an Associate Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy and CEO of Audacia Bioscience. With a robust leadership background, he has effectively managed projects from $5k to $5 Million and established himself as a global speaker on healthcare innovation. Holding a Ph.D. in Information Systems, he has authored over 60 research articles and 7 books in healthcare and technology. Dr. Olla's expertise lies in breath biomarkers and AI integration in clinical research. Committed to mentorship, he shapes future healthcare leaders while advancing scientific understanding. Driven by innovation, his interdisciplinary approach underscores his dedication to revolutionizing medical practices.

Dr. Venus Olla is an accomplished educator, psychotherapist, and advocate for Black and racialized individuals. With over two decades of experience, she's deeply passionate about promoting equity and inclusion.
Her educational journey includes a PhD in Education from the University of Nottingham, UK, where her research delved into the role of technology and student voice in fostering engagement. Additionally, she holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Canadian Institute for Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic and Psychotherapy.

Angelina Ebegbuzie

Meet Angelina: An accomplished Entrepreneur and alumna of the University of Windsor's Bachelor of Commerce Hons. Program and a St. Clair College graduate in Marketing, Human Resources, and International Business. She also holds a Hairstyling and Barbering License from the Ontario Colleges of Trades. Angelina has been a community advocate for over 30 years and is committed to bringing impactful and actionable systematic change for racialized and marginalized individuals in all levels, specifically the areas of education, child welfare, mental health, healthcare, and police enforcement. In June 2020, she co-founded Black Women of Forward Action—a community organization focused on advocacy, mental health supports, sisterhood, and empowerment. Angelina also sits on multiple boards in the Windsor area.

Claudius Thomas

Meet Claudius Thomas: An innovator with comprehensive experience in product and solution innovation. His leadership shines through the successful development of Turaco Web, the Pandacea product, and the Windsor Chapter of Black Boys Code. Proficient in crafting business documents, including financials, and adept at negotiating win-win outcomes. He's dedicated to shaping a brighter future.
